TRANSPARENCY & CREATIVE INTEGRITY
Human-made. AI-assisted. No illusions.
Our approach to generative AI, creative ownership, automation, and the compromises that come with making an independent podcast.

Generative AI in Research and Writing
The use of generative AI is limited to interview preparation and thematic recommendations, followed by a collaborative writing process in which the agent is instructed to use Socratic methodology to creatively extract personal thoughts from the host.
Additionally, the host frequently uploads recordings and transcripts of his personal thoughts and prompts the AI to preserve at least 90% of the host's own words when drafting scripts and other written content.
Generative AI does not determine the opinions, perspectives, or editorial positions expressed on Tech It to the Limit. Those belong to the host.
The opinions and perspectives expressed by guests belong to those guests and are not generated by AI.
All output is reviewed and edited by humans.
Generative AI in Graphic Design and Media
Generative AI is also used in the creation of certain graphics within the video content and certain social media content. This is due to the host's significant lack of graphic design skill, as well as his tremendous lack of sponsorship.
The host recognizes the creative labor that is stolen by the base models and so casually licensed away by corporations that provide them. As a creative himself, the host understands the sacrifice in values inherent in this decision to use them. As such, creative labor is the intended first use of sponsorship funding for the podcast when it becomes available.
Tech It to the Limit is proud that its original logo and original music were made by humans. AI-generated graphics are not presented as original works created by human artists.
Tech It to the Limit does not use AI to impersonate guests or fabricate interviews. Any use of synthetic voices or realistic depictions of actual people will be clearly disclosed. We have had two non-human guests on the show to date.
Automation and agents are also used frequently in guest bookings and social media posting. It is simply not possible for a single person with a family and a full-time job to complete the work necessary to break through the slop that's thrown around without automation.
Automation helps manage the administrative work of producing and distributing the podcast. The relationships, conversations, and creative decisions remain human.
